| International Code for Marketing Breast Milk Substitutes.
Since 1981 there has been an International Code to support Breastfeeding against huge and unrelenting marketing efforts on behalf of the artificial formula producers and their partners: feeding bottles,, teats,...etc.
The Code was followed by the Innocenti Declaration on 2005.
Despite the sincere efforts of persons, organizations, media supporters, social supporters, governmental (limited) backup and all other participants failed to effectively implement such Code. Why does such noble task has not been met with the substantial support it deserves??. |
