ELCA is collaborating with Ministry of Health, Egyptian Medical Syndicate, Egyptian Red Crescent, Al Zahraa University Hospital (Azhar Faculty of Medicine for girls) and National Nutrition Institute in various activities in protection and promotion of Breastfeeding. ELCA through collaboration with the Ministry of Family Affairs and Population had the major contribution with IBFAN, to the inclusion of many code provisions in the bylaw of the Egyptian Child Law. Accordingly Egypt was upgraded to category 2 on IBFAN scale.
ELCA is collaboration with the Center of Social And Preventive Medicine (CSPM) where the major bulk of our activities take place. ELCA experts are working to make the CSPM a baby friendly facility.
